Tyler Koopman is a mission-driven investment leader with a passion for building financial systems that power lasting impact. As Senior Investment Strategist, he brings together deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and values-driven planning to guide capital allocation that supports long-term sustainability and growth.

Previously, Tyler served as a Financial Analyst at the American Forest Foundation, where he played a key role in developing a $2 billion enterprise financial model, supporting scenario planning for investors and executives, and helping allocate $30 million annually through the organization’s budgeting process. His work supported the foundation’s mission to empower family forest owners and advance conservation outcomes.

Prior to that, Tyler worked at Executive Planners NC, helping high-net-worth clients navigate complex estate, retirement, insurance, and investment strategies. He actively managed over $80 million in AUM, delivering personalized planning solutions rooted in trust and precision.

Tyler holds a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Purdue Global University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and Master Planner Advanced Studies™ (MPAS®) designee. With a background in economics, he combines analytical rigor with a strong relational approach, helping clients translate long-term financial goals into thoughtful, actionable investment strategies.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys biking, hiking, and adventuring with his family in the mountains of North Carolina, where he lives with his spouse and children.
